SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it is actually alarmed about the significant quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This status sassa is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there read more is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The company level made for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and increase entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
